Our educators are chosen for their ability to concisely explain and relate their creative ideas to others. We feel that by making available and comparing the concepts and methods of our industry's most proven masters, and doing so without a product pitch, we can deepen our understanding of this complex art form.

Products are fantastic. They help smooth and protect, bend and shape and hold our styles. Advances in product ingredients and the technologies used to delivers their benefits are ever increasing. With that said, it is important that we maintain reverence for true artistry in an environment that is increasingly dominated by the high profiles and big budgets of our beloved product manufacturers.

While high energy stage shows and charismatic platform artists may capture our attention and inspire our passion, we must assert that calling this "education" seriously dilutes our standards as professionals. We believe that without intention there is no art, and that the systematic explanation of that intention is the most important part of artistic education.
