As we swear no allegiance to any particular product line or brand method we are free to absorb, compare and adopt any concept that serves our professional growth. The concepts that we teach are hand picked to instill a solid basic foundation and they are assembled in a progressive system with the learning process in mind.

The Netwerk Began \\

as a consortium of fashion industry talent who work together on various projects, from photo-shoots and fashion shows to consulting and marketing. The team was (and still is) an ever-changing mix of hairdressers, photographers, make-up artists, film makers, clothing designers and stylist, graphic designers ect, ect. We have collective experience in all sides of the fashion industry, but we were truly born out of hairdressing and strive to improve the professional environment and common perception of that industry through education.

The Netwerk Founders \\

are John Alanouf and Josef McCasland. Both have been hairdressers since they were teen agers. John started as an assistant at Toni & Guy and left them as an multi-award winning artistic director by the age of 21. Josef went straight to work at an independent salon building an enviable clientele and reputation as one of orange counties top dressers by the same age. The two met at a hair coloring class and together became the most active force in The Netwerk. Their different career styles combine to create a complete hairdressing philosophy.
